Storybook Circus (Ages 1.5-3)

Start your child on the path to fun and adventure with storybook circus! This youth circus class allows parents and tots to explore circus together in a safe and fun environment. Class primarily focuses on circus play through creative imagination inspired by stories with use of aerials, trampolines, juggling equipment, balancing skills, and games to help parents and children make meaningful connections while increasing basic motor and communication skills.

A basic class consists of a circle time where the concepts of the day are introduced through story, followed by an obstacle course related to the theme and characters. Older students will have the chance to safely help build or modify the obstacle course using their ideas inspired by the story. I

Parents are required to join in on the class and work with their child to ensure a fun and engaging experience for their toddler or young child. Topics that may be covered in class include: tightwire, rolla bola, rolling globe, scarf juggling, fabric play, trapeze, group games and more!

Storybook Circus is a good way to introduce circus to small toddlers as well as older children who may still be a little shy. This class also prepares older students to join our Adventures in Circus Class (Ages 4-6) by building their social and class etiquette skills. Lots of fun for students, siblings, and parents!

For children looking to learn something new and exciting, the circus is a non-competitive, artistic, fun and safe discipline!
